Xanthan gum

Xanthan gum is a natural gum obtained by the action of a bacterium, Xanthomonas Campestris. Capable of absorbing large quantities of water, it swells to a stringy gel, the viscosity of which depends on the quantity of gum used. It allows bringing more viscosity to cosmetic products, until obtaining the desired texture and thickness.
