Sunflower Wax
Sunflower wax is regularly used in the making of solid forms, such as balms, sticks, and other rather dense emulsions. Here, it is used as a component of a natural cosmetic ingredient developed by the Lyonnais GATTEFOSSÉ laboratory: Definicire. It is a texturizing agent which cares for the hair fiber by mimicking the protective properties of sebum, but without a greasy effect. All good then. It is an excellent alternative to silicone, and is popular in hair products for its ability to combat humidity and frizz.
