Jojoba Esters
It is a mixture of Jojoba oil and wax. You should know that what differentiates an oil from a wax is quite simply its state, solid or liquid. Each fatty substance has its own melting temperature. In oils, for example, the melting points of fatty substances are low, which is why they are in a liquid state at room temperature. On the other hand, that of the fatty substances used to make the candles is high enough, to prevent them from leaking into your hands as soon as you grab them. By convention, they are called waxes, but waxes and oils are the same to the chemist.
In cosmetics, playing with mixtures of oils and waxes allows you to obtain very sensory textures, melting into the skin, ideal for massages for example. They also have good emollient and moisturizing capabilities. In styling products, mixtures are used whose melting temperature is barely higher than the temperature of the skin. So you can easily take your styling wax from the pot, then heat it in your hands to make it soft so you can work on your hairstyle. As it cools, it becomes solid again and exerts its fixing power, holding your hair in place.
