Glycerin
Glycerin, also called glycerol, is a synthetic compound inspired by life. It is obtained from various fatty substances, mostly plants, by saponification (reaction to obtain soap). In cosmetics, glycerin is used in many products for its strong moisturizing power and its emollient properties.
Applied to the skin or hair, it forms a very thin occlusive film which protects against attacks. Perfect for pre-shaves and hair products! Finally, it provides viscosity to formulas. Totally biodegradable, it is a compound that respects health and the environment.
